Dropped by for dinner. The place wasn't busy, so we were able to get a seat right away. They took a bit longer to bring out the food than we thought. We ordered a vermicelli bowl and a broken rice plate. The flavors were okay, but the broken rice plate was cold by the time I got to it. The prices were a bit high for the type of food. The service was okay. They checked on us often. Overall, it's a decent Vietnamese place when compared to other places in the area.

The broth seems different from most pho places I have been to. I think the secret is more garlic. Prices can be a little high, but the food is good. I paid over $30 for a bowl of standard pho and an appetizer with no drink. The pho bowl was very big, though. Service wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. Maybe they were a bit tired since it was close to 9 pm.

Good food. The Pho comes out in a huge bowl so there will be a lot of broth leftover (bring a container for the extra soup). The quality is pretty good. Fresh pho noodles and a good amount of meat. The meat in the bánh mì is very marinated. $10 for a sandwich means inflation is real!

Recently opened, the food was good, portions large. No condiments on the table. Some different items to choose from that had not been seen at other Pho places. I chose the fried steak & garlic Pho which offered a unique broth flavor. Eggs rolls were full & not oily in the least. I wondered if they were air fried. Many "broken rice " dishes, which I'd never heard of before, were on the menu. When we went, no one spoke more than a few words in English, so it was difficult to ask any questions about new to us menu choices. In general, I'm sad that none of the pho places I frequent, offer traditional, dripped in your glass, coffee anymore. It seems the to-go versions in a plastic cup, started during the pandemic, is now a regular thing. It's just not the same. They were very generous with the take away containers; they were help yourself & free! And we had lots of leftovers!

The food is just ok. Nothing special! The waitress was very lazy. She kept looking away when you were calling her, and she doesn’t know what the Vietnamese dipping fish sauce is —come on your Vietnamese. You should know all the menu and the sauces. Don’t act dumb! She was very snobby too!! Smile and be nice to customers! You are just a waitress!

Pho Thin is one of the best places for Northern style Pho in the SF Bay Area. Fresh rice noodles are much more satisfying compared to the dry noodles that most restaurants utilize in the area. The staff is always friendly & helpful. Give this spot a try & you won’t regret it.

I really enjoyed the egg rolls they were fresh and the sauce really complemented them well. I just think $10.50 is pricey for 3 egg rolls. The chicken wings were also great, very sweet and crunchy the way I like them. Only thing is I did have the Pho and it was very bland. I felt like the green onions over powered it. Could definitely use some salt.
